Allocation Process
Understanding how NHC fairly reviews applications and assigns available properties.
The allocation of National Housing Corporation properties follows a strict, merit-based process managed by the Allocation Committee. Our goal is to ensure housing goes to eligible citizens through a transparent system.
Phase 1
Application Screening
Applications submitted via the Tenant Portal are digitally screened for basic eligibility and completeness. Incomplete applications are returned for correction.
Phase 2
Verification
NHC officers verify employment details, income capacity, and cross-check documentation with relevant authorities to prevent fraud.
Phase 3
Committee Review
The Allocation Committee reviews verified applications against available properties, assessing need, family size, and financial capacity.
Phase 4
Offer & Acceptance
Successful applicants receive a formal Letter of Offer via the Tenant Portal. The applicant has 14 days to accept the offer and pay the required deposit.
Track Your Status
You can track exactly where your application sits in this process through your portal dashboard.
